A rookery for storks

Wood Storks are among the largest wading birds, and are both graceful and awkward in part because of their size. The rookeries where their lives begin aren’t easy to see, with the exemption of a remarkable water treatment plant that doubles as a bird sanctuary in the middle of urban Palm Beach County.
